Playtech to vote on Financial Betting

Playtech shareholders will vote on August 19th on a merger deal between Playtech PLC and Forex/CFD broker Plus 500 Ltd. What does this mean in more detail? It means a £459.6 acquisition proposal which on July 16th was approved by Plus500 shareholders. 60 million Plus500 shareholders had voted in favour of the proposed acquisition with only 5 million voting against it.
Playtech is looking at expanding its offering of financial betting products, as its shareholders are poised to vote on a merger deal between Playtech PLC and Forex/CFD broker Plus500 Ltd on August 19th.
The Playtech deliberations will take place on Isle of Man and promises to be an interesting day for the financial betting industry, a sector that has been growing drastically in the past few years.
Many expect financial betting to break into the main stream online casino world soon enough with the likes of Vera & John, Mr Green and more potentially having this service on offer for their players.
