Olympic Casino to operate largest Casino in Malta

A deal has been struck between Eden Leisure and Olympic Casino to run the largest casino in Malta.
Eden themselves were granted the concession to operate a land based casino just last month.
The executive chairman of Eden, Ian De Cesare has previously said that it was important to find a strong partner with extensive experience and resources to operate the casino.
They have succeeded in closing a deal with Olympic as they happen to be the largest provider of gaming services in the Baltic states. Olympic also holds operations in Italy, Belarus, Slovakia and Poland which bring their total number of casinos to 97 spanning over 7 countries.
The new project which will carry the name Casino Malta by Olympic will be the largest casino in Malta with an area of 2,700 square meters and will provide all of the latest equipment and technology to uphold to international casino standards.
The casino plans so far have upwards of 250 slot machines, 30 casino games and poker tables, a dedicated sports betting area, all complemented by a lavish bar/lounge area where players and regular guest will be able to enjoy and relax.
The casino project is expected to cost €10 million and open by the end of 2015, while Eden Leisure group will also be investing another €30 million to add an extra 2 floors which will contain 6 star suites as part of the Intercontinental Hotel.
